Drakkon are large lizard-like bear creatures native to the @Shadow Roads. They are covered in a mix of coarse, dense fur, and thick scales, some of which are the size of small dinner plates. As ferocious as one might expect a bear to be, Drakkon can withstand far more punishment than their mundane kin. Their claws and teeth are even harder as well, capable of snapping not only large bones, but some metals as well. And don't let their large size and heavy scales fool you, a Drakkon can run, swim, and even climb quite swiftly when it wishes to. Though they aren't maliciously aggressive like some other animals native to the Shadow Roads, it may not take much to provoke one of these creatures, and they should be avoided whenever possible.

What most people think of when hearing Drakkon, however, is the special materials that can be obtained from them- namely their hide and scales. Drakkon Hide and Drakkon Scales are, as one might assume, impressively durable, and can confer this property to arms and armor when in the hands of a skilled craftsman.
